Services

Pre-Construction

Pre-construction services cover a large range of tasks and activities that need to be completed before the start of a project. The pre-construction team participates in design decisions, evaluations, studies, value engineering, value analysis, scheduling, constructability reviews, and more. Design costs, permitting, land acquisition, and life-cycle costs may also be evaluated. AZDC’s involvement during the early stages of design reduces risk and facilitates a well-coordinated and expedited construction phase. During the pre-construction period AZDC will participate in the project design and help assess its actual buildability. We will highlight possible site issues/restrictions, Building/Landlord requirements and restrictions, MEP/FP coordination versus architectural/structural designs and logistic considerations. We will call upon our years of collective practical experience to develop preliminary staging plans and a project specific approach and philosophy.

Our estimating team will prepare a preliminary baseline budget which will become the client’s first visibility into the cost of making a vision become reality. From initial test fits through schematic design, then detailed design development and final construction documents, AZDC will provide full budget services at each stage of the process.
